Neat and stylish units with a nice private veranda, good bed and shower, and amicable staff. Location really close to Knysna and surroundings, Thesen Island and restaurants which are 5 minute drive away...

The best part was the breakfast — hands down the best bacon I've ever had! The location is super convenient, but the pool being unavailable was a bit of a bummer. 🌊

Spotless, exceptional room, extremely polite stuff right from explaining the load shedding timings to such a great hospitable staff. Bonus point for a safe, multi-channel TV and a refrigerator...

the king suite was fantastic, it included a laptop-compatible safe, central heating, and iron/ironing board.

The large bathroom caters perfectly to bath enthusiasts, allowing ample space to unwind after a long day. The suite offers a good level of comfort for couples, even if it's not overly spacious.

The suite felt cramped for our two-night stay, leaving little room for baggage and movement. Inconsistencies in hot water were a nuisance, disrupting the relaxation.

The room was big with a nice private veranda and good aircon and large bathroom, could leave my car on-site. An electric kettle and a fridge were provided.

Everything was great from the moment we arrived to the the day we departed. My wife and I stayed in the Protea in Knysna the previous night and the contrast from that soul-less, unwelcoming establishment to Knysna Stays could not nave been any more pronounced. Lloyd and Trish have a first class establishment on the go and long may it continue. Lloyd took us for a walk in the forest above Knysna and pointed us in the direction of a few places - he is keen on promoting the Knysna area, not just his own guest house and that is a good thing. Top class all round.

Charming hotel, good staff, providing excellent breakfast choices including fresh fruit salad and delicious hot meals like eggs made to order and crispy bacon.

Couldn't ask for more.

Everything was first rate. Rainy day while there and Lloyd/Trish went extra mile to book a visit to gym for me at golf resort/spa with great views of lake & valley. Highly recommend as a great place to stay while visiting the area for any reason.

Our host Lloyd was very informative and nothing was too much for him to organise. Very well run establishment with excellent staff. We did find the beds a little firm for us, this is just personnel prefferance.

The spacious suite provided a comfortable retreat, complemented by a splendid balcony view. The breakfast offerings were excellent, with South Africa's best bacon and generous portions of fresh and hot foods. While the staff exuded friendliness, the absence of a washing machine was a minor inconvenience for our family. The hotel's location could benefit from clearer signage.

The guest house was wonderful, the breakfasts very good and Lloyd's insight into the area, restaurants and South Africa in general was much appreciated.The attention to detail is what will make Knysna Stays number one guesthouse in Knysna

Room fantastic- large and well equiped. beautifully decorated with great views and good well furnished balcony. LLoyd the owner was extremely helpful- gave us an introductory drive round the town and then gave great suggestions and maps etc for - he could not have been more helpful- well done Lloyd! We recommend Knysna Stays without any reservation!!
